This case was built around the “greatest battle implement ever devised”. From its bold 5-pointed star on the outside to its exploded rifle breakdown diagram on the inner lid, this case is the perfect presentation for the M1 Garand. This case has been a fan favorite wherever it has been displayed. It utilizes the original Type 1 spring retention system which is fine tuned specifically to larger capacity internal magazine rifles like the M1. The case body is constructed of simple basswood and is trimmed out with hard maple for an overall blonde appearance. The inset is painted olive drab with the star nomenclature in white, then distressed a bit to give it vintage appeal. Note: A small percentage of M1 Garands we’ve seen have thicker buttstocks and may not fit correctly in the cavity designed to cradle them. Please contact us if you have any questions.
